Half Mutton Box
Do you like lamb but want a cheaper alternative? Mutton is better value for money. Mutton has a slightly stronger flavour than lamb.
Our half mutton box contains:
2 x half shoulder joints
2 x half leg joints
Chops (pictured is the chops included in the whole mutton, so it’ll be half the amount)
Cutlets (pictured is the cutlets included in the whole mutton, so it’ll be half the amount)
breast plate
Neck chops
Kidney
All our mutton is hung for a minimum of 7 days. The half mutton box weighs a minimum of 9kg. Our price includes free delivery to mainland UK.
Lambs become classed as mutton once their adult teeth come through, this is usually between 12 and 18 months old. Great for a roast dinner, in stews or in a curry, mutton is full of flavour.
Fun fact: most curry houses actually use mutton instead of lamb

We use a family-run, local abattoir and butcher to prepare our meat. Each cut is then individually vacuum sealed (apart from chops and cutlets which are still packed, but are not done in a vacuum).
All our weights are the minimum amount you will receive.
